IHRF Ration Card
The IHRF Ration Card initiative supports low-income families by ensuring monthly access to essential food and household supplies. Through verified enrolment and community outreach, we help vulnerable citizens reduce hunger, protect their dignity, and maintain basic nutrition without disruption.
Challenge
Access to subsidised food remains difficult for many economically challenged families who lack documentation, awareness, or mobility. IHRF identified that women, daily-wage earners, elderly citizens, and abandoned households often remain outside formal ration systems. Our program bridges this gap by assisting beneficiaries with verification, documentation, and equitable distribution of food support.

Our Process
To ensure that ration-based support reaches the right people, IHRF follows a structured and transparent process. Each applicant is evaluated based on eligibility criteria, family status, and immediate nutritional needs. Our team collaborates with volunteers, public departments, and welfare agencies to streamline approvals and delivery.
Identify the Need
We reach out through community visits, referrals, and local groups to find families facing food insecurity.
Assess Eligibility
Basic details such as income, family size, senior citizens, single mothers, or children dependent on the household help us decide priority support.
Approve and Distribute
Once verified, families receive ration cards or monthly support through our distribution partners.
Review and Continue
We keep short follow-ups to ensure support is reaching beneficiaries and adjust help when needs change.
Result
This streamlined approach ensures families receive timely ration support, reduces food insecurity, and builds trust within the community. Regular tracking helps IHRF reach more vulnerable households and encourage long-term stability.
